About Us

With three state licensed wildlife rehabilitators, a federally licensed facility, and nonprofit business leaders guiding our board, Hoosier Wildlife is powered by a dedicated, experienced team committed to excellence in wildlife care and organizational stewardship.

Aiding Wildlife

Mission and Strategic Planning

Hoosier Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation's mission is to provide aid to injured, orphaned, and sick native Indiana wildlife. This includes but isn't limited to providing veterinary assistance, raising young, housing juveniles, and providing state-licensed care to these animals with the eventual goal of their release back into the wild.

Hoosier Wildlife also hopes to promote healthy human to wildlife relationships through educational programs, like our twice-yearly wildlife walks, talks at schools, and tabling at local events. We also hope to accomplish this through community outreach and promoting conservation within the community.

Vision

Our vision is a future where wildlife and people coexist in a healthy, informed, and compassionate community. We envision a region where native species thrive in protected habitats, where orphaned and injured wildlife have access to professional care, and where the public understands their role in conservation. Through education, rehabilitation, and responsible growth, Hoosier Wildlife strives to be a trusted leader in advancing biodiversity and environmental stewardship across Indiana.

Board of Directors

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.

Our Board of Directors plays a critical role in ensuring that every donation, partnership, and program advances our mission. Composed of experienced nonprofit and business professionals, the board provides financial oversight, governance, and strategic direction. Their leadership allows our licensed rehabilitators to focus on lifesaving wildlife care while maintaining strong organizational health and long term sustainability.
