About Hoosier Wildlife Rescue

Rebecca Orr

Rebecca Orr is a nonprofit leader, wildlife rehabilitator, and community advocate with expertise in environmental management, finance, and animal welfare. As Founder and Executive Director of Hoosier Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, she has grown the organization to serve over 1,200 animals annually while expanding free access to wildlife care for underserved communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a concentration in Environmental Management, along with minors in Biology, Animal Behavior, and Sustainability, which inform her commitment to conservation and responsible practices. With professional experience in accounting and financial operations, Rebecca brings strong financial stewardship to her work, supporting sustainable nonprofit growth. She leads fundraising, grant writing, volunteer coordination, and program development, while also creating education initiatives that support STEM learning and strengthen community connections to wildlife and conservation.

About Hoosier Wildlife Rescue

John Perine is an experienced real estate professional and nonprofit treasurer with over 22 years of expertise in commercial property management and asset improvement. As founder of Aspen Property Management, he has built a strong reputation for managing diverse portfolios, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial sites, self-storage facilities, HOAs, and government-subsidized housing. His work spans market-rate, tax credit, and rural development properties, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both private and public-sector operations. Known for his hands-on, solutions-focused approach, John specializes in improving underperforming assets, increasing operational efficiency, and strengthening financial performance. As Treasurer, he provides strong financial oversight, budget management, and strategic planning, supporting the organization’s stability, accountability, and long-term growth.

Darcy Bryant

Darcy Bryant is a seasoned administrative professional and community advocate with over 20 years of experience as a court reporter, bringing exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy to her role as Board Secretary. Raised on a farm in a military family, she developed a strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to service that continue to guide her work. Darcy has been actively involved in community initiatives in Fishers, Indiana, including supporting engagement efforts for the Fishers Freedom Festival, and previously served on the board of Friends for Homeless Animals. She is also active in her local faith community, supporting outreach and service initiatives. As Board Secretary, Darcy ensures strong administrative structure and documentation, combining professional precision with a deep dedication to community impact.

Kate Rosebrough is a dedicated wildlife advocate and founding board member of Hoosier Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, serving for over six years with a strong commitment to conservation and animal care. She studied at Purdue University and spent many years as a veterinary technician at Yellowdog Veterinary Clinic, where she developed extensive clinical and patient care experience. Kate continues to support the organization through hands-on rehabilitation work, particularly in neonatal wildlife care, where she provides specialized support for orphaned and vulnerable animals. As a board member, she helps guide organizational development and maintain high standards of care, bringing a combination of veterinary expertise, compassion, and long-term dedication to the mission.

Halli Hunt

Halli Hunt is a dedicated wildlife advocate and emerging rehabilitation professional with a strong passion for native Indiana species. A graduate of Fishers High School, she is currently based in New Castle, Indiana, where she is actively pursuing her wildlife rehabilitation license and gaining hands-on experience in animal care. Her primary focus includes the rehabilitation of fawns and avian species, along with experience in reptile care and habitat setup. As a board member, Halli brings enthusiasm, a fresh perspective, and growing technical expertise, contributing to the organization’s mission through her commitment to learning and advancing wildlife rescue and conservation efforts.

About Hoosier Wildlife Rescue

Kelsey Antrim is a community advocate, nonprofit leader, and licensed wildlife rehabilitator with a strong background in human services, education, and animal welfare. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Purdue University and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Service from Anderson University, and brings over a decade of experience in social services and program management, including roles with East Central Indiana CASA, Children’s Bureau, Inc., and The MENTOR Network. In addition to her professional work supporting vulnerable children and families, Kelsey is Co-Owner of Antrim Farm and Founder of Hoppy, Healthy & Safe Inc., focused on education and foster care for exotic pets. Licensed through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, she also serves as Volunteer Coordinator and a permitted rehabilitator for Hoosier Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, where she supports volunteer engagement, education initiatives, and organizational growth through her passion for both people and wildlife.

Laura Dietrich-Gillim

​Laura Deitrich-Gillim is an experienced healthcare professional and nonprofit board member with over 30 years of nursing, clinical leadership, and quality improvement experience. She currently serves as an EPSDT RN Quality Improvement Specialist Senior with Centene Corporation through Meridian Health Services, focusing on improving care outcomes for pediatric and vulnerable populations. Her background includes roles in care management, remote patient monitoring, clinical supervision, cardiac critical care, and public health, including leading contact tracing efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally from San Francisco and now based in Sheridan, Indiana, Laura brings deep clinical expertise, systems knowledge, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care, providing valuable insight and leadership to support high standards of care and organizational excellence.

Parvin Gillim is an experienced architect, pilot, and community-minded professional who brings a diverse background in design, leadership, and civic engagement to the board. As an architect, he applies strong problem-solving, planning, and technical skills to create functional and sustainable environments, offering valuable insight into strategic and operational decision-making. He has also been involved in civic engagement, including a past campaign for public office in Indiana, reflecting his commitment to community leadership. In addition, Parvin is a licensed pilot who owns and operates a private aircraft, demonstrating discipline, precision, and a focus on safety. His multidisciplinary experience provides a thoughtful, analytical perspective that supports the organization’s long-term growth and mission.
